After spending 30 years of our lives in Brisbane on a suburban block, we discovered Tasmania while on a short holiday. Both keen gardeners and animal lovers, we took to our small farm at Sheffield like ducks to water. 

Then our dream of operating our own horse and carriage business came to fruition. The romance of carriage driving is special and unique and it's a great pleasure to be able to offer a quality service to the community.

Our Staff

Our staff are trained coachmen and dress in full livery. Courtesy and presentation is our aim. On going training and study is undertaken to ensure constant development in our driving skills.

Safety and Insurance

Safety is paramount in our business and we carry public liability and workers compensation insurance. Good quality harness is used and thoroughly inspected on a regular basis for wear or faults. Our vehicles have modern braking systems, essential for the safety and comfort  of our passengers and the horses. Safety that coachmen of a bygone era would be proud to see.

The Horses

Our horses have great temperaments. They are prepared and groomed for every occasion with mane and tail left flowing and natural. They work for a total of 5kms while in harness on the job and spend most of their lives grazing pasture on our farm in Sheffield.
